I know this might be late, but I got caught up writing other posts and adding all over Facebook(I have ADD maybe...a little bit...is that a bug on my window?...see what I tell you? )
Yes, I did the super tacky thing of tacking a picture in the bathroom, but, that's because that bathroom is the only room in this house that has decent lighting.
Now what I'm wearing:
Yes, I did the super tacky thing of tacking a picture in the bathroom, but, that's because that bathroom is the only room in this house that has decent lighting.
Now what I'm wearing:
- Primer: bareMinerals - Prime Time
- Foundation: bareMinerals - Original SPF 15 Foundation in Fairly Light
- Blush: Benefit - Chachatint (The one on this post)
- Eye Shadow Primer: bareMinerals - Prime Time Primer Shadow in Champagne Toast (Featured here)
- Eye Shadow: bareMinerals - Soft Focus Velour, applied to the outer v and the crease
- Upper Lash Eyeliner: L'Oreal - Carbon Black Lineur Intense
- Water Line and Bottom Lash Eyeliner: bareMinerals - Big and Bright Eyeliner in Black Coffee
- Applied Wet n Wild Perfect Pair Eye Wand in Smoke/Lilac, the eyeshadow part ( to the inner corner of the eyes (From this haul)
- Highlighter: Mai Couture - Highliter Papier in St. Barts, applied to the cheek bones, nose, some on the forehead and a bit on the chin (from my December's Ipsy)
- Mascara: I wanted to give Flawless Definition by bareMinerals another chance, but it just reminded me why I hate it so much. I just ended up using Mally Volumizing Mascara(my HG mascara)
- Lipgloss: bareMinerals - Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Hot Ticket
I wanted to go with a look that didn't require the use of a lot of brushes, cuz I washed my brushes yesterday and they're not all completely dry just yet. I decided to use bareMinerals foundation today instead of liquid foundation.
A lot of people complain about Chachatint leaving dots on the face, thats cuz the product is really pigmented and dries really fast. My trick for this is to apply it directly on my fingers and then to my face by gently tapping my fingertips on my cheeks, followed by blending with fingers after. This helps avoid dots on the face.
I was really lazy today and didnt want to create a really elaborate eye look. This is why I went for a pigmented eye shadow primer. After realizing I was using a lot of bareMinerals products I decided to use more and make it into a mostly bareMinerals look, with a few exceptions, of course.
I don't know if you can appreciate the eye shadow cuz the camera really washed out the colors. I will do my best to work on this and get this damn camera to show the color better next time!
Hope you liked this :)
Disclaimer: I purchased this with my own money, and this is my own personal opinion :)
