Wet n Wild Color Icon Comfort Zone Review + Swatches

Out of the three Color Icon 8 pan palettes I have at the moment, this one is definitely my favorite, followed by Blue Had Me At Hello and Petal Plusher is definitely my least favorite. Now, that is not because of the colors, but because of the quality of the eye shadows itself, more on that later on this post! Haha!

I picked up this palette a while ago, so I have used it quite a bunch at this point. I mentioned all of these in a haul post, which you can find if you click here. And if you want to read a few reviews on the Color Icon trios, you can check that out here.

Picture taken with a flash

Left Column:

Brow Bone Color: This is a gorgeous color, pigmented enough and creamy, perfect for the brow bone or inner eye corner, really shimmery and really pretty.

Eyelid: This looks more peachy in the picture, but it's more like a soft shimmery, coppery shade. Really pigmented, really creamy, gorgeous as an all over lid color. Or maybe on the crease with the Brow Bone shade all over the lid and this on the crease, creating a really simple and soft day look.

Crease: Gorgeous shimmery brown shade, super pigmented great on the crease for a soft day look. It could also work as an all over lid color.

Definer: First of all, SUPER PIGMENTED, this color is crazy pigmented, so be careful when applying it, because a little bit will show up a lot, so this is not error-friendly. This shade is hard to read, because it's sooo dark, it's a super super dark brown that almost looks black with some brown glitter. Really gorgeous, amazing for a brown smokey eye or to add a little bit of drama to a neutral eye look.

Right Column:

Brow Bone Color: First off, I wouldn't wear this on the brow bone , because I think it might be a bit too dark for that. Besides that, this is a gorgeous, shimmery, super super pigmented shade, great as an all over lid color or as a crease color for a soft neutral look.

Eyelid:  Gorgeous shimmery moss green, super creamy as the others, it can work as an all over lid color, or a crease color. Super pigmented too, it's just great!

Crease: This one, opposite of the other dark shade in the palette is not as pigmented as that one. It's still pigmented, but not as much as the other one. This shade is a really dark brown with gold shimmer, perfect for the crease, smudged on the lower lash line or added on top of another color on the crease.

Definer: This has to be the prettiest shade on this palette, irridescent brown and green shade, sooo pretty!Super pigmented and creamy, also shimmery as the rest.

This palette is amazing for daily looks, the name fits it perfect, I think the shades are within everyone's comfort zone and they are all work place friendly.

The quality of the shadows is amazing for most of them, creamy, pigmented and blendable. They have a bit of fall out, but nothing that makes it a pain to work with them. I absolutely love this palette, I think it would look good with any eye color.

If you don't like to venture into bright colors and you're a neutral shades kinda gal, this is definitely a palette for you, you can create different work safe looks and wear it daily. The best part is that if you want to turn up the drama for a night out, you can add the darkest shades to your look and be good to go!! This is a perfectly affordable daily palette.

I definitely highly recommend this palette, it's so amazingly pretty and easy to work with, that I'm sure you won't regret it and if you do, you are not out a lot of money.

Disclaimer: I purchased this with my own money, and this is my own personal opinion :)
