As promised on the Ulta Haul post, here's a NOTD with Butter London polish.

The dark purple cremè is two coats of Orly's Wild Wisteria, which I mentioned in a drugstore haul post that you can find here. This gorgeous dark purple color looks black indoors, but you can definitely tell it's a dark purple outdoors.

The glitter on the "tips" is Butter LONDON's Lovely Jubbly.

As usual, Seche Vite as the top coat.

I was trying to do a glitter gradient that clearly failed, I don't hate it though :)

I know this is simple, maybe even boring, but I like to try the polish by itself, before I do anything else with it. Anyways, I talked about this guy on a drugstore haul, that you can find here. That's two coats of Hard Candy's Little Bo Pink. I think it's pretty cute, though the pictures don't really pick up the cuteness.

NOTD: March 25th

Ugh I hate how this looks like! It's hideous against my skin tone, or at least that's what I think. Either way I thought I should share it, also I said I would share swatches of all my Julep March colors. I know it's a bit late for this, but I'm sorry D: . That's two coats of Julep Debra, which is described as a "Smokey Taupe Crème". I don't like this color one bit on me, maybe on others it will look better, but it made my hands look sick.

The accent nail has a coat of Essie's Shine of Times, which apparently was LE and can't be found anymore! Though I'm sure you could find it on...ebay...And as usual my top coat is Seche Vite.

I'm sorry for the "mood" of this post, I just really hate how this looks on me.

NOTD: March 31st, Easter nails!

Everybody is going with eggs, chicks or bunnies for Easter nails, I went with polka dots :D

Thumb and pinky: 2 coats of Revlon-Cloud(which I think might be discontinued), the dots were made with OPI - Gargantuan Green Grape.

Index and ring finger: 3 coats of OPI - Gargantuan Green Grape, dots made with OPI - I Theodora You.

Middle finger: 4 coats of OPI - I Theodora You (4 coats! Crazy, but so worth it!), dots made with Hello Kitty - Blueberry

And of course all topped with Seche Vite, as usual. Most polishes here will be featured in upcoming haul posts!

Hope you liked this, I really think it looks super cute! <3

NOTD: March 17th

This is not my kind of color, but I really like it on! I got this polish in my March Julep box. That's 1 coat of Julep Joy, yup ONE coat! This one is amazing, not streaky or clumpy and one coat does it, but you can do 2 if you prefer that, I was shocked that it was opaque with one coat, really surprising! And as usual, Seche Vite as my top coat.

Two coats of Julep Leila, under Seche Vite. This polish is from my Julep March box. At first it was a bit streaky, but I really liked the end result. The ring finger has 2 coats of Leila and one coat of OPI's Polka.com, isn't it gorgeous? I kinda want to do all the nails with it, but the bf said this looked cute, so I left it at that ^^

NOTD: March 7th

This is pretty simple, but really cute and spring appropriate. Another Julep polish, from the March box. I absolutely LOVE this green shade! It's gorgeous!

That's 2 coats of Julep Adrianna, under 1 coat of Seche Vite

Since this polish takes forever to dry, I decided to use Seche Vite instead of the Julep Top Coat.

I left the first coat dry completely, then applied the second one and Seche Vite right away, it dried quickly because of SC of course! I love this color, same as all the other ones I have reviewed so far, it's a bit of a PITA to work with it, but the end result is just gorgeous!!

NOTD: March 5th

I want to try out all my new Julep polishes on basic solid color manis before I play with something else. This time it's Minnie, super pretty "opalescent" coral-pink. I say "opalescent" because you can see that in the bottle, but not on your nails, sadly. I got this from my Julep March box.

Either way, I think this is a gorgeous color! Really Barbie like, love it! I love my purples, but I will love a unique pretty pink too!

That's 2 coats of Julep Minnie, under Julep Fast Dry Top Coat with natural light. The color is more pink than what it looks like.

Hope you like it ^^

NOTD: Feb 28th

Since I picked my dotting tool, and had some new colors, I decided to venture into some nail art. This was one of those manis that was cursed since it was thought up...I smudged my nails a ton of times! And I kept on doing it, I painted them way late at night and had to go to bed and of course that ruined it. I had to repaint my nails again and when I did, I smudged 3 nails when they were ready to just dry and wait for the dots...Oh well, I didn't give up, however. This chain of misfortunate events affected the mani, because I was tired by the time I had to put the dots on and it's not as perfect as I would like it to be, but it's still cute, I think...

I picked both colors that I got at different times separately from each other. I got the pink one on this haul and the white for free as you can see here.

All pictures taken with natural light, no flash. Both colors took 3 coats to look opaque and even. The pink shade is Essie - We're in it Together and the white is Orly White Tips

The dots on the accent nail look like they are a different shade, but it's the same polish, I think it looks different because the background is white.

I really liked this mani and thought it was really cute and really girly too ^^

Hope you liked this :)

NOTD: February 25th

Sticking to the "vampy" colors, I wanted to do something with Revlon Vixen, but not just plain nail color, because I have been doing that a lot lately.

So I decided to venture and try out Chevron nails. I thought I'd do at least one accent nail.

I have this theory about manis that are cursed since the moment you think about doing them. Well this one was one of them. And by this I mean I'll smudge my nails all over the place over and over again without ever being done with that mani!

That was the case with this one, most nails were done and perfect with Revlon Vixen, but for my accent nail I decided to go with Essie Sand Tropez for contrast. I did the accent nail on my ring finger and I kept on smudging it! When it was finally dry and I was finally done with a perfect chevron, the top coat dragged the color and screwed it up! Ughh I was SO mad! But I didn't give up! At the end it wasn't as perfect as I would want it to be, but at that point I was just so tired that I would take anything.

So as you can see, it's definitely not perfect, but you get the point. I'm OK with the color combination, but it's not my favorite. I wanted to try to do something more serious and not so colorful. Not like there's something wrong with colorful, I LOVE colorful, but I wanted a change at least for one mani.

I did this with regular transparent tape.

All nails, but ring finger: 2 coats of Revlon's Vixen.
Ring Finger: 2 coats of Essie's Sand Tropez, "chevron" part 1 coat of Revlon's Vixen.
Top coat: Seche Vite

I know it's not the best, it's not even close to decent, but it was this or no mani at all, so I decided to go with this.

NOTD: February 19th

I needed to take advantage of my gorgeous dark colours before the winter is over! So I went for a super vampy dark grape color. I'm so super in love with this polish.

Borghese Carnevale Grape swatch

Borghese Carnevale Grape swatch

Borghese Carnevale Grape swatch

Borghese Carnevale Grape swatch

That's 2 coats of Borghese Carnevale Grape, under one coat of Seche Vite. I got some shrinkage close to my cuticle, which also happened with my Chanel Le Vernis. I can't recall if I let this dry and then applied SV and maybe that's why I got shrinkage, but for sure the Chanel one was dry when I applied SV, so it makes sense.

I'd say the real color is a mix between the last two pictures, it looks really dark by itself, almost black, but with light it looks like this really dark purple with a bunch of red, I loved it!

I absolutely loved this polish, I loved it so much I wore it for like 4 days in a row! Such a gorgeous color!

I don't think you will be able to find this shade anywhere, but maybe Amazon or Ebay, because Borghese's nail polishes are discontinued.

NOTD: February 17th

I had to use my new nail polish ASAP, of course, so I didn't wait and went ahead and tried it out! (I'm talking about the bf's Valentine's day present).

NOTD: February 16th

I was removing polish and I realized my nails were looking amazing! Now, I'm not bragging here, this is a personal victory. My nails had been super unhealthy before, they would flake and they wouldn't grow. They were super weak! Now they have grown a bit and are super hard and strong! I'm so happy and thought I'd share my little victory!

I'm only wearing the Oxygen Nail Treatment from Julep in the picture. The products I've been using religiously to try to improve my nails are Nailtiques Formula 2 and Oxygen Treatment. Also I take Centrum Women Under 50 and Black Currant Seed Oil. I always try to remember to pay attention to my cuticles when I apply moisturizer to my hands.

This is what has worked for me so far, I can't tell if it will work for anyone else, but it has worked for me. I'm super happy with my nails, my left hand (pictured) is at a better place than my right one, but I'm sure the right one will get better soon!

I don't hate short nails, I actually like them, but I just wanted mine to grow a bit.
