BzzAgent Schick Hydro Silk Razor

If you don't know what BzzAgent is, you can find the explanation here.

I got into this campaign, probably the day after I got into the Glade one. I was super excited, because this will be my first "beauty related" campaign.

When I'm back in Costa Rica I usually wax, because I have a lady that does my waxing and she's amazing. She doesn't use bands or anything, just the wax itself. Since I'm not there I have to shave. I have another Schick Razor that I've been using, it's the Intuitions Naturals Sensitive Care. And it's OK, but the moisturizing bar runs out after a couple uses and it runs out uneven which is the worst part. Also, it doesn't give me the most precise shave and there are always a few hairs left.

When I got this razor, I didn't think I would be impressed. You know how so many products promise so many things and they just end up being lies? I hate when companies do that! They do it a lot with mascaras.

So, I thought all the promises from Schick were BS too. Boy, was I surprised! They recommend using this with a shaving cream/foam, anything that helps the shave. I didn't use anything, but the moisturizing serum. You just have to let some water hit the razor for a bit and it will be activated. It does feel serum-like, a bit gooey, but it lets the razor glide perfectly on your skin.

Now, let me give you a little background, before shaving I didn't apply moisturizer for 3 days, not for any particular reason, just because I'm lazy!(There, I said it!)

So, moisturizing after shaving had to be a must. This razor promises to keep your skin moisturized for over 2 hours after shaving. And I decided to test that out. Not applying moisturizer after shaving is a capital sin for me, but I did it. And actually, my skin did feel super smooth after shaving (also, it's still winter for me).

Since it is indeed still winter, I get goosebumps all the time, because, well because it's cold! Getting goosebumps after shaving, usually hurts my skin, like seriously, it hurts! And it gets super irritated sometimes after shaving too. This time I got painless goosebumps and no irritation at all!

Also, unlike my previous razor, this one didn't miss a single hair, which is a great thing in my book. Nothing like being done shaving, out of the shower, ready to go and finding that damn hair that didn't want to be shaved and escaped the razor!! Ughhh, that makes me so mad! So glad it didn't happen this time.

This razor gave me the closest cut, I've ever gotten from a razor. No irritation at all, left my legs feeling super soft and it just glides on my skin. And I know this might not be something important for a lot of people, but it comes with a bathroom wall thingie(tato, rephrase that, thank you), so I can just leave it sitting suctioned to the wall(that's important for dropsy!).

I feel a little bad, because when I got my previous razor, I got a bunch of replacement cartridges, but since I got this one I don't want to use the other one again! LOL!

I honestly really liked this razor, which is surprising, because my relationship with razors is not the best! I definitely recommend trying it out!

Also, BzzAgent included coupons for $5 off a razor(comes with 2 cartridges) and they retail for around $5, so basically half off. I might hoard these, kidding! I'll pass them around, but might keep one O.O

Disclaimer: This was sent to me for free by BzzAgent to review, I am not getting anything for giving a positive review or a negative review, this is my own personal opinion ^^ I didn't "love this" because that will make for a good review, I loved this, because I actually liked it :)

BzzAgent Glade Expressions Campaign

I signed up for BzzAgent in October and this is my second campaign. If you don't know what BzzAgent:

Connecting people and their favorite brands since 2001, BzzAgent is the leading social marketing company. What's that mean to you? We put products in the hands of hundreds of thousands of real consumers and help them share their opinions about them with friends and family via reviews, Facebook posts, photos and videos, blog posts and more. We wouldn't call ourselves heroes, but it's okay if you want to.
Taken from BzzAgent's website

Now that you know what BzzAgent is, they have campaigns were we(the BzzAgents/consumers) get to try out products and "bzz" about them. Meaning- we try them out and spread the word of what we think about said products we tried out.

I got in a campaign for Glade Expressions. I received 2 coupons for a free Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist Starter Kit and a free Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser Starter Kit. I picked both of them up at Walmart (OMG did she just admit to stepping into a Walmart? OMG yes, yes I did. I don't think you are less or more trashy for the store you step into and shop, I think you either are trashy or you are not, regardless of where you shop.).

Fragrance Mist on the right, Oil Diffuser kit on the right.

I didn't have much choice on the Oil Diffuser, because there were only 2 kinds left,  but I really like the one I got. The bf's dad helped me choose because he's sensitive to smells and doesn't like certain stuff. There was a lot of variety for the Fragrance Mist Kits, but I still think I made the right choice, I really like the one I got for that.

I'm really sensitive to smells, so usually I don't like any added smells to the house. Sometimes even my own perfume that I've been using for the longest time can give me a headache or get my nose all itchy. But these scents are actually really pleasant!

Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist:

I got the Fragrance Mist in Italian Cotton & Mandarin. Number one on my priority list- no itchy nose = win!  I got no itchy nose from this, yay! I'm loving this spray, I put it in the guest bathroom and I spray it every so often. I could even say I do it daily, just to smell it. It has this clean, fresh, out-of-the-shower smell and I love it! If there's a smell I love is when someone walks straight out of the shower, that just-showered scent is amazing. And I say "when someone" because I can't really smell myself LOL! I'm really liking these, it adds freshness to the house and just this clean feeling to it, because it smells so clean! Nobody has complained about it so far, however, don't go overboard with it, because then it might be annoying. You know too much of something is never good. And over spraying this won't be good either, a couple spray here and there are just perfect.

Usually this spray bottles are hideous, but you can remove the sticker on this one and it's just a white bottle with a really stylish shape, I like it. So much I left it on display in the bathroom!

The bottle looks good without the sticker on, I like it.

Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser:

I picked this one up in Pineapple & Mangosteen, because the bf apparently doesn't like the smell of cinnamon too much, so I rather avoid his old man ranting about completely irrelevant things(bf editing: hey now!). Either way, the old Apple-Cinammon smells is kinda boring for me personally. One thing I HATE about Oil Diffusers is how UGLY they are and how much they stand out between the decoration in any house, because they are usually white, plastic, ugly looking things. This one is not, it actually looks pretty good. It just blends with the "decoration", and it doesn't look bad by itself.

Assembling this is super easy as you can see:

Now the scent- I'm in love! Seriously, I love it! It's sweet, but fresh at the same time, it smells like something I will call: Piña Colada Candy(invention of my own, this doesn't really exists, that's just how I'm gonna call what I think about when I smell this). I want to eat this! Of course I won't because, well it's not food! But if there was a thing that smelled like this...well I would roll myself back to Costa Rica, because I would eat it daily! It's also very relaxing, it just makes me think of the beach, because I mean, who doesn't love a Piña Colada beach side? I know I do! Or not even beach side, just anywhere!

I placed it in a really strategic point too! It's the first thing you smell as soon as you step into the living room and it just hits you, but it doesn't like slaps you in the face, it more of a hug and let go(did that just sound super lame or is it just me?). It's a really subtle, but awesome smell(I'm sorry, I'm in love, hush). It's not overwhelming at all, it just add a touch of sweetness to the house. A "welcome, come chill in the couch right here while I make you a cocktail" kinda thing.

See how it just blends in?

One cool thing I forgot to mention, the Oil Diffuser uses no power at all! Which is a plus as it saves some energy I guess.

Overall, I'm super glad I got to try these out, because I'm super picky when it comes to smells and all the sprays in the market and scent thingies have really let me down. They make me sick and my nose itchy and I don't like that one bit. Both of these are dead on with the description, they smell really nice and are not overwhelming at all, but again- don't over spray the mist!

Also, they were super awesome and sent a bunch, of awesome coupons, that leave the products at like $.98 and $1.98 or something around that! I will definitely give a bunch of them away, but I might keep at least one, to restock when we run out of this.
